And the title says " fashion is not a piece of pie", it's a French expression to say "fashion isn't an easy thing" If you know what would be the English equivalent for such an expression, please tell me!

Je rappelle que mes illustrations ne sont pas libres de droits, que je n'aime pas qu'on me les pique ou qu'on les decoupe en icones, et surtout pas a but commercial, mais que je fournis des freebies parfois, et que si vous avez une idee trognote pour utiliser mes images, oui, on peut en parler.

I receive a lot of emails of persons who don't know what copyrights mean, saying that they used my picture on their commercial website, or asking to use my characters, and even sometimes asking me to do more, for free of course.
Well, NO, the answer is no, and don't be shocked if I say so.
Would you do act this with Totoro or Babar ? Of course not...Maybe I deserve the same respect. This website is something really important to me, and I'm afraid I'll have to stop showing my art if people began to use it like it was theirs.
However :
I sometimes said happily yes for the use of my illustrations for a personal website for a baby, for preschool classroom...I also provide freebies from time to time for you to play with.
Do you see what I mean? If you have a sweet, non commercial, cute idea for the use of my illustrations, of course you can submit it.
