"Modele"in French, has 2 meanings : mannequin and best example.
What they are saying to eachother are insults, but not really rude ones:
"brat" says one, and "show off" answers the other.
"Andouille" is a kind of sausage, we use it as an insult to say "fool" or "dingbat"
"courgette" ( zucchini) is not really an insult, but "courge" (squash) is an insult meaning "idot". Courgette can be used as "small idiot", in a cute way.
