Fresh from this morning

This morning I took my bike and went for a drive, going by the alleys and small roads here in LA. There is a whole world behind the suburban landscape, it feels like a secret garden. I completely fell in love with this cute side of the city.

I made a quick sketch of an alley I particularly like. It reminds me some village in France. Here in LA, it's unexpected and lovely!

En prenant les chemins de traverses dans cette grande ville bizarre et inattendue, on peut tomber sur des petits coins un peu oubliés qui ont des airs de village Français...

Quand j'ai un peu de temps ( pas souvent) je lâche l'ordinateur pour ma bicyclette et mon carnet de croquis, ça fait du bien ^^
