Sorry I'm too lazy for translation today. But "la fin des haricots" would be the equivalent of "oopsy daisy", something like that.
The French Poppy is red and called "Coquelicot" as a reference to the triumphant song of the rooster. Since it grows mostly near the wheatfields, it's a very strong symbol...And light too. I love it's color and I miss it dearly, even if I fell in love with the Californian delicate orange poppy too...
